Mini Update: MS Teams, Job Description Creation and More

Microsoft Teams integration to act on hot applicants faster and a simple way to create better job descriptions.

Published February 2026 and will take about 3 minutes to read

Speed is the name of the recruiting game and this mini-update puts the foot on the pedal.

Why are job descriptions so hard to create?

We obsess over the details that we consider ‘marketing’. And one of those details is getting a job req from a client or hiring manager.

Here’s the scenario: client has a phone call with account manager about a new role they need filled. Client may send over their internal description, but typically the account manager is taking note, then putting those notes into ChatGPT, then putting that description into the ATS…if you’re lucky.

But on the agency side, you need to keep client and address information under wraps and normalize the output across dozens if not thousands of jobs. Not to mention managing how an account manager or recruiter ‘formats’ each job.

We’ve rolled out our job description creation and rewriting right into the flow. Now, when a few notes or client-provided req is added to the ATS description, we normalize the output, blind client information and provide clear responsibilities, qualifications and benefit and work environment details.

This all happens in about 30 seconds. The cool thing is we can then use that updated description across channels and push it back into the ATS.

What used to be a laborious task now takes seconds and saves hundreds of hours across an agency.

Dream teams

We rolled out our Slack integration late last year and literally had a customer drop an ATS and Linkedin Recruiter seat license b/c their recruiters could bask in qualified inbound applicants.

Our Microsoft Teams integration offers the same functionality and puts Very Strong candidates front and center.

A cool thing we’re rolling out as part of this is another workflow for applicant decay…a quick aside.

A client of ours was reviewing applicants and noticed a Very Strong fit that hadn’t been worked. The client decided to work the candidate and that turned into a $36,000 placement fee. A fee that was hiding in plain sight. This is applicant decay and it’s what happens when a new, well-aligned candidate hasn’t been worked.

Now, instead of that fee sitting and being missed, Boostie can automatically trigger a message in Teams or Slack to remind the team that an applicant hasn’t been reviewed. Less missed opportunities and more placement fees.

Other news

We rolled out a bunch of UI and UX updates. New labeling, organization and overall aesthetic cleanup has been completed.

We are also on the cusp of adding 4-5 more workflows and will have a bigger automation update in the near future.

We’ll be visiting customers in Austin during SIA (reach out if you’re in town) and looking forward to attending Bullhorn Engage in May.
